Scholarship Program 2025-26
BVHS PTO will award scholarships to students applying to both Traditional Universities and Technical/Vocational Programs.
Information for each program, as well as general information for all applicants, can be found below. Please carefully read all provided information before starting the application process.
Scholarship Applications are not yet available. Applications will open in early 2026 and will close in March 2026. Information on applications will be updated here when available, and will be communicated to the school community via the weekly email and PTO social media.
SCHOLARSHIP TYPES
Traditional Scholarships
Two graduating scholars will be awarded one traditional scholarship each.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Blue Valley High School PTO Traditional Scholarship, an applicant must:
1) be a 2025-26 graduating senior in good standing from Blue Valley High School
2) have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher
3) be planning to enroll or already be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at any school listed in the Education Directory of Colleges and Universities or the community college of his or her choice.
Angela Gravitt Memorial Technical/Vocational Scholarship
One technical / vocational scholarship will be awarded to a graduating scholar.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Blue Valley High School PTO Angela Gravitt Memorial Technical / Vocational Scholarship, an applicant must:
1) be a 2025-26 graduating senior in good standing from Blue Valley High School
2) be planning to enroll or already be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate at any vocational institution, trade school or the community college of choice.
Retiring Teacher Scholarships
Information is posted on Xello by the Counseling Office for the Retiring Teacher Scholarships. Retiring teacher must have been at BVHS for a minimum of 10 years. Awards are $500 and the number varies each year.
INFORMATION FOR ALL APPLICANTS
All scholarships are a one-time award.
Application for consideration of this scholarship must include the following before submitting:
- Upload your Resume (no more than 1 page) to application:
- Complete a short answer questions (maximum 200 words)
- Upload your unofficial transcript to application (include Fall 2025 semester)
Applications will be reviewed anonymously and award decisions will be made by the Blue Valley High School PTO Board.
Recipients for all scholarships will be announced at Class Day.
